MISSION

  1. To create and enrich an environment with essential resources, so as to train and mould students to promote active learning, critical thinking and engineering judgment to solve real-world problems in the field of Electrical Engineering.
  2. To create competent and skilled professional who are well trained to design, implement and control electrical efficient systems.
  3. To motivate and strengthen faculty to instigate effective teaching learning process and advanced research and publication work. To enhance industry interaction and provide reliable consultancy services.

PROGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOS)

PEO1:

The graduates of the Program will be able to apply their analytical and professional knowledge to take on higher responsibilities in industry and diverse fields of Electrical engineering. Develop ethical values and aptitude for life long learning that enables them to stay with latest technology needed for successful professional career.

PEO2:

The graduates will be enthusiastic towards life-long learning, creative thinking, and career enhancement and adapt to changing professional and societal relevance especially rural needs. Exhibit strong knowledge in basic sciences and electrical engineering enabling them to analyse.

PEO3:

To motivate the students to exhibit professionalism, ethics, communication skills and team work. To motivate them to adapt to current trends through lifelong learning. To motivate the students and faculty to do useful and application oriented research.

PROGRAM OUTCOMES (POs):

At the end of the program, the students will be able to:

  1. Engineering Knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.

  3. Problem Analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyse complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences and engineering sciences.

  5. Design/Development of Solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.

  7. Conduct Investigations Of Complex Problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
